Amends the Alcohol and Gaming Regulation Act to let the liquor authority set payment terms and charge interest on overdue alcohol sale accounts, and raises certain penalty amounts.
- Allows the authority to establish payment terms for beverage alcohol sales transactions
- Allows the authority to charge and collect interest on overdue beverage alcohol accounts
- Makes unpaid amounts, including interest, a debt owed to the Crown
- Allows debts to be recovered under The Financial Administration Act, 1993 or other lawful means
- Raises a penalty amount under section 39.1 from $10,000 to $25,000
- Raises a penalty amount under section 147.07 from $10,000 to $25,000
- Sets the Act to come into force on a date set by the Lieutenant Governor in Council
