Martin Archambault
Hi! My name is Martin Archambault I'm 45, and dossiersaskatchewan.ca is your first step into democracy!

If we want people to understand politics, it has to be brought down to their level.

When I first tried to take an interest in it, on top of not knowing the jargon, bills came as two lines… and fifty PDFs. Most people would simply walk away.

So I had an idea: use artificial intelligence first to read through all of it, then to put it in plain words. That's how DossierQuébec was born — and now DossierSaskatchewan.

Alongside the AI recap, I've given people a lexicon that explains the basics of political jargon. Plain-language law exists — think of this as its equivalent for politics!

    • October 1, 2026 — DossierSaskatchewan is live The site opens at dossiersaskatchewan.ca. It follows Saskatchewan's Legislative Assembly: the 61 MLAs, the 18 ministers, the 88 bills of the 30th Legislature and the 34 recorded divisions, read from the Assembly's official documents and updated automatically twice a day.
    • October 1, 2026 — Promises: what the Assembly did with them The 12 commitments of the Saskatchewan Party's 2024 platform, the majority government, are quoted word for word. Each sits next to the bills that carry it out, with the sentence from the official explanatory notes that shows it: 8 are in an assented law, 1 partly, 3 have no bill.
    • October 1, 2026 — A plain-language summary for every bill Every bill has a one-sentence summary and its key points, in English and French, written by AI from the official text. The full text is always one click away on legassembly.sk.ca.
    • October 1, 2026 — Dark theme The moon button in the header switches the whole site to a dark theme. Every page was checked so that no text becomes unreadable.
