Requires Saskatchewan to recognize goods, services and certifications approved in other Canadian provinces or territories that have similar mutual recognition laws.
- Applies to goods and services from other provinces or territories with similar reciprocal legislation
- Goods approved elsewhere are treated as meeting Saskatchewan standards, with no extra fees or testing
- Services licensed or certified elsewhere must be recognized in Saskatchewan without extra approval requirements
- Workers with equivalent certification from a reciprocating jurisdiction must be granted Saskatchewan certification if in good standing
- Does not apply to Crown corporations, regulated professions under labour mobility law, workplace safety rules, or government procurement
- Allows exemptions by regulation for specific entities, goods, services or occupations
- Bars most lawsuits against the government based solely on this Act, except as allowed under the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
