Requires the Minister to create a public registry listing family physicians and nurse practitioners currently accepting new patients.

  • Amends The Provincial Health Authority Act by adding a new section 7-6.1
  • Minister must publish a registry of family physicians and nurse practitioners accepting new patients
  • Registry must be accessible to the public through a website or other electronic means
  • Information must be made available within 3 months after the section takes effect
  • Ministry must use existing resources to administer and publicize the registry
  • Expenses for the registry cannot be paid from the General Revenue Fund
  • The Act comes into force on Assent
