  • Exempts pre-packaged salads, sandwiches and wraps from provincial sales tax
  • Exempts mixed and salted nuts, muffins, granola and protein bars from tax
  • Exempts fruit juices and yogurt drinks from provincial sales tax
  • Exempts cheese, meat, fruit and vegetable platters from provincial sales tax
  • Allows the Lieutenant Governor in Council to add more exempt foods by regulation
